6227 Boro Crane Monk MA1 Embroidered Jacket Indigo

A cropped, lightweight MA-1 flight jacket with a Tibetan style asymetric closure and internal carry straps, parading a vivid Boro Origami Cranes all-over print with hand-machine embroidered highlights.

Completed with hi-vis orange lining and brass zippers. The artwork is inspired by boro, a Japanese style of patch repairing and re-stitching heavily work garments in the Edo period, when recycling was a necessity.
